MASHP E SCHOOL COMMITTEE <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> DECEMBER 11, 2002 <br /> Minutes <br /> Attendees: Chairman Janice Mills, Peter Thomas, Mollie Deis and Ben Caswell. DonnaJean Lopez was <br /> absent this evening. A I so in attendance was Superintendent of Schools Patricia Parol ski. <br /> Mrs. Mills called the executive session to order at 6:13 p.m. in the Quashnet School Library. <br /> Topics of discussion included: <br /> 1. Trish Casey Reguest—Mrs. Casey opted to accept the town"s town" early retirement incentive, <br /> therefore requested retirement from the school department effective December 1, 2002. _ <br /> Mrs. Casey requested her sick leave buy back. <br /> Motion made by Mr. Thomas, seconded by Mrs. Reis, to pay Mrs. Casey her sick leave <br /> buy back. <br /> Roll Call Vote: In favor — Mrs.. Mills, Mr. Thomas, Mrs. Reis, and Mr. Caswell; <br /> opposed none. <br /> 2. Mrs. Parlski updated the Committee on a pending special education litigation case. <br /> . Mrs. P rol ki updated the Committee on correspondence received from School Attorney <br /> William Butler regarding course reimbursements to teachers. <br /> . Mrs. Parolski drafted a later to all staff regarding the FY04 budget and possible <br /> scenarios. She asked the Come-nittee's permission to distribute. The Committee <br /> approved. <br /> .
