� s MASH.PEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE REGULAR MEETING FEBRUARY 5, 2003 Minutes Attendees: Chairman Janice Mills, Peter Thomas, Mollie Reis, Ben Caswell, and I onnaJean Lopez. Also in attendance were Superintendent of Schools Patricia Parolski and Business Administrator Michael Tarlow. I. Call Meeting Mrs. M ills called the regular meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. in the Mash pee High to Order School Library. II. Executive Session Motion made by Mrs. Reis, seconded by Mr.Caswell,to move into executive session at 6:31 p.m. for the purpose ofnegotiations and personnel. The regular meeting reconvened at :1 o p.m. III. Approval of Minutes .1 Regular Meeting,.,January 8, 2003 —Motion made by Mr.Caswell, seconded by Mr. Thomas, to approve the minutes of the regular meeting held on January 8, 2003. VOTE: Unanimous 3.2 First Executive Session—JanuM 8 2003 —Motion made by Mr. Caswell, seconded by Mrs. Reis, to approve the minutes ofthe first executive session held on January 8, 2003. VOTE: Unanimous 3.3 Second Executive Session :- January 8, 2003 — Motion made by Mrs. Lopez, seconded by liar. Thomas, to approve the minutes of the second executive session. VOTE: Unanimous 3.4 Finance Meeting — January„22, 2003 — Motion made by liar. Caswell, seconded by Mrs. Reis, to approve the minutes of the finance meeting held on January 22,2003. VOTE: Unanimous IV. Public Forum There was no public participation this evening. V. Acknowledgments 5.1 Massachusetts State Track Coaches Association Award — 1/19/03 — Mrs. Mills announced that the-high school track team had received this award for taking second place in Class D. Mr. Brown acknowledged the coaching efforts of Coach Glennon as well as the following track team members for their outstanding efforts; Roscell Lopez-Pitts ho set a state record this past weekend for the long jump at 22' 2-1/2"), Jonathan Lopez-Pitts, Erik Pfundstein, Share McDougall,and Kevin Benoit.
