MAS14PEE SCHOOL MMITTE —REGULAR MEETING—JULY 2, 2003 PAGE 3.6 Executive Session — June 14, 2003 — Motion made by Mrs. Cook, seconded by Mrs. Mills, to approve the minutes of the executive session held n June 14, 2003. VOTE: Unanimous IV, Public Forum Media Arts Director Melissa Murphy informed the Committee that a copy of the 2003 graduation ceremony was available for Mr. Thomas as Chairman of the School Committee as well as for seniors who did not receive a free copy. V. Acknowledgments 5.1 League Co-Champions, 2003 Girls Spring Track — Mr. Thomas congratulated the girls' team for their outstanding year as being named as the South Shore League -Champions. .2 League Co-Champions, 2003 Boys Spring Track — Mr. Thomas congratulated the boys' team for their outstanding efforts this year and also being named as the South Shore League -Champions. VI, Communications Mr. Thomas outlined a letter from Rebecca Romkey, Coombs School PTO President, wherein rein she outlined the successful goals of the PTO this year. In her letter, Ms. Romkey acknowledges and commends Mrs. Doyle for her support and efforts during the past three years. VII. Student Advisory The Student Advisory C o u n c lI representative wiII begin attending meetings j Council September. VIII. VOTE: UnaninIOLIS .2 Administrative Reports — Mr. Thomas commended the administrators for their monthly reports with special kudos to Media Arts Director Melissa Murphy and Audio-Visual Technician Daniel Walker for their extensive work during the end of the school year.
