1 ASHPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE—REGULAR MEETING—FEBRUARY , 2004 PAGE <br /> 11.2.3 Safe Transportation Task Force — Mr. Thomas said there has been <br /> no need to hold a meeting. <br /> 11.2.4 Affirmative Action Committee—Mrs. Cook said this committee met <br /> and discussed appointment of another person. <br /> i <br /> 11.2.5 Boosters Club — Mrs. Cook said the next meeting for the Boosters <br /> Club is February 11" at 7:00 p.r . in the high school. <br /> 11.2.6 Indian Education—Mrs. Lopez said she has received no notification <br /> f any meetings. <br /> 11.2.7 Health Advisory Committee — Mrs. Lopez said this committee has <br /> not been re-established as yet. <br /> 11.2.8 Menu nu Advisory Committee — Mrs. Cook reported on the meting <br /> that was held this afternoon. Mr. Scott presented a survey (with a <br /> 23% return rate) with results indicating improvement in food <br /> service. <br /> 'It was decided this committee would meet on an " s needed" basis <br /> in the future. <br /> X11. Other Mrs. Cook mentioned that an FY05 CIP meeting was held this <br /> . afternoon to discuss departmental ental requests for next year. <br /> Mrs. Cook also said a meting was held on Tuesday, February P <br /> with two members of the Finance Committee, herself and Mrs. Reis, <br /> the Superintendent ofSchools, and the Business Office Supervisor <br /> to discussed neat year's budget. She asked Mrs. Parolli and the <br /> administrators to erne up with "something creative" and "save <br /> what we can save."" She suggested raking incremental charges in <br /> the FY05 budget. <br /> Mr. Thomas echoed Mrs. Cook's concerns and stressed the need t <br /> be budget-conscious. <br /> Mrs. Par is i plugged "Mashpee Unplugged" for the month of <br /> March, a program offered through 1 la hpee's Human Services. <br /> Media Arts Director Melissa Murphy introduced the new Audio- <br /> Visual <br /> udi - <br /> i u l Technican Chris waysta k who was at the camera this <br /> evening. <br /> XIII. Executive Session Motion made by Mrs. Cook, seconded by Mrs. Reis,to move into a <br /> second executive session at 8:25 p.m. for the purpose of personnel. <br /> Roll Call Vote: In favor — Mr. Thomas, Mrs. ok, Mrs. Lop , <br /> Mrs. Mills,,and Mrs. Reis;opposed—none. <br />
