MASHPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE--REGULAR AND FINANCE MEETING—JULY 145 2004 PAGE X. New Business 10.1 School Committee Policy, Manual Review - Sections J, K, and L — Mrs. Lopez described the revisions to be made to JLCD,, "Pr t l for Managing Students with Life-Threatening Allergies." These changes will be incorporated into the current policy for a vote during the August 2004 meeting. Mrs. Lopez also explained the need to increase the facility usage fees. She distributed the proposed fee schedule changes which will be incorporated into the current policy IGA. "Regulations and Fees for Use ofSchool Buildings" for a vote in August. 1 .2 Process for Hiring.Superintendent — Due to Mrs. Parlski's upcoming retirement next year, Mrs. Cook asked the Committee t consider options on the process ofhiring Mrs. Prlli's successor. These will be discussed at the August meeting. 10.3 2004-2005 School Year Athletics—Discussed earlier in the meeting. XI, Committee Reports 11.1 Sub-Committee Deports 11.1.1 Negotiations—Discussed earlier in executive session. 11.1.2 High School—Discussed earlier in the meeting. 11.1.3 Elements School—Mrs. Reis suggested seting up a meeting. 11.1.4 urriculurn[M —Discussed earlier in the meeting. 11.2 External Reports 11.2.1 Cape Cod Collaborative — Mrs. Lopez said the summer program was obtained through a grant. 11.2.2 Leisure Services — Mrs. Reis said there has been no meeting. Mrs. Parol'ski suggested Mrs. Reis attend the monthly meetings she holds with Gus Frederick. Mrs. leis agreed. 11.2.3 Safe Transportation Task Force — Mr. Thomas said the next meeting will be held in August to go over bus routes. 11.2.4 Boosters Club — Mrs. Reis said there was no meeting but Mrs. Cook said the Annual will wbend Children's Charity Pro-Arra was a success again this year. 11.2.5 Indian Education — Mrs. Lopez said she has not been notified f any meetings. 5
