MASHPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE—REGULAR MEETING—SEPTEMBER i, 2004 PAGE <br /> Meetings are broadcast live. Television equipment from Comeast would need <br /> to be rented for each meeting as well as a full day ofset up time by the Media <br /> Arts Director. Mrs. Mills questioned if the Cable Advisory Committee could <br /> assist financially with this effort. It was decided that Mrs. Parlsli and <br /> Selectman Don Myers will set up a meeting to discuss. <br /> One more alternative would be to return to the high school library. <br /> X. New Business 10.1 MASUMASS Joint Conference October 27-29, 2004 <br /> 10.1.1 Voting Delegate Alternate—Motion made by Mrs. Mills, seconded by <br /> Mrs.Reis,to appoint Mrs. Cook as the voting delegate and Mr. Thomas <br /> as the alternate for the MASC/MASS Joint Conference. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> 10.2 Business Office Positron—Mrs. Cook discussed the retirement of Ellen <br /> Ferguson and the steps to be taken for her replacement prior to October 31, <br /> 2004. Mrs. Cook and Mrs.Par lski suggested hiring and posting for a Certified <br /> Business Administrator. <br /> Motion made by Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Deis, to advertise as soon a <br /> possible for a School Business Administrator. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> 10.3 2004-2005_ School Start-U — Mrs. Cook gage an update on today's <br /> "Welcome Baelz" assembly at the high school. Schools are ready for <br /> occupancy. <br /> X1. Committee Deports 11.1 Sub-Committee Reports <br /> 11.1.1 Negotiations--Discussed in executive session. <br /> 11.1.2 High School — The student parking issue was discussed. Mr. Brown <br /> said 65 seniors have registered to park. He suggested a cut-off date of <br /> September 10, 2004 be set to register for packing spaces. The <br /> remaining spaces will be on a lottery bass. <br /> 11.1.3 Elementary School — Mrs. Reis said a meeting has been set for � <br /> September 21,2004 at 1:30. <br /> 11.1.4 Curriculum MCA — Mrs. Parolsl i noted the cuff ieula have been <br /> copies for distribution. <br /> MCAS preliminary data has been received and embargoed. Principals <br /> will review and submit to DOE. Results will become public <br /> information after September 17, 2004. <br />
