i <br /> Mrs. Grady explained that this revised budget would eliminate the proposed hires <br /> for the elementary school; however, it would allow classroom size to twenty to <br /> students or less. Mrs. Rom.key expressed concerns over the proposed staffing at <br /> the elementary school, particularly that there would not be ars enrichment teacher. <br /> Mrs. Grady explained that the budget number held some fluidity for possible <br /> personnel additions. Mr. Thomas expressed that the revised budget would allow <br /> the schools to meet many of their goals. <br /> Mrs. Mills made a motion to adjust the FY 08 School budget to $19,948,652.00. <br /> Mr. Thomas seconded the motion. <br /> VOTE- In favor, Mrs. Grady, Mr. Thomas, Mrs. Mills, Mr. McNamara; opposed- <br /> Mrs. l oral e . <br /> Iv Out-of-State Field Trip- Pequot Museum, Le rd, Connecticut <br /> Mrs. hills motioned to approve the field trip to the Pe not Museum on April 26, <br /> 2007. Mrs. Romkey seconded the motion. <br /> VOTE- Unanimous <br /> V Other- <br /> 5.1 Grant Surmar <br /> IVs. Bankston compiled list of all rants and provided information about each <br /> p <br /> grant. <br /> 5.2 Memo and Re ort on Applying reed- Jpn Procedures to End-of-Year <br /> Financial R opt <br /> Mrs. Bradshaw explained that even district is audited by an outside audit firm. <br /> The Mashpee Public Schools were audited by Sullivan and Rogers. This report <br /> details their findings. Mrs. Bradshaw stated that the district will make charges <br /> and respond to the audit. She discussed that one discrepancy is the information <br /> regarding our Special Educations students. On reason for this is that currently <br /> different software is used at the different schools. Also, it was noted that two of <br /> the findings were corrections made by the town.. <br /> 5.3 St ffin Patterns <br /> Mrs. Bradshaw presented a report on staffing patterns of personnel over the past <br /> five years. She noted that the increase in van drivers, monitors, and Unit <br /> personnel was due to an increase in Special Education students. <br /> 5.4 Per Pupil Fire Year Trends <br /> Mgrs. Bradshaw explained the graph of per pupil five-year trends. She explained <br /> that Special Education funding has increased over the fine-year period. <br /> 5.5 Student Art work <br /> Mrs. Bradshaw commended the following students for having their artwork <br /> selected to be in the Town Report: Amelia Diehard, Dara Collins, Jacqueline <br />
