4 MASHIIEE SCHOOL MMITTE-E REGULAR M.EE'r1 l AUGUST 23, 2006 Minutes Attendees: Chairman M.atryRose Grady, Peter Thornas, Becky Romkey, Bill McNamara, and Janice Mills. Also in attendance were Superintendent ofSchools Aran Bradshaw and Business Administrator Ira Brown. 1. Call Meeting Mrs. Grady called the regular meeting to-order at 6:30 p.m. in the Office of to order the Superintendent located in the Quashnet School. 11. Executive Session Motion Ornade by Mrs. Rornkey, seconded by Mrs. Mills, to move into executive session for the purpose of litigation at 6:31 p.m. Roll Call Vote: In.Favor — Mrs. Grady, Mr. Thomas, Mrs. Rornkey, Mr. McNamara, and Mrs. Mills; opposed—none. The regular meeting reconvened at :06 p.m. Ill. Approval of Minutes 3.1 .regular Meeting,-_3_uly 12. 2006— Motion made by M r. McNamara,, seconded by Mrs. Romkey,. to approve tho, iininutes of the regular ineeting held on July 12, A2006. VOTE: Unanimous 3.2 Executive Session — July-1 # 2006 — Motion rnade by Mr. Thomas, seconded by Mrs. Romkey, to approve the minutes of the CXMItive sessions Feld on July 1 , 2006. VOTE: Unanimous 3.3 Special Meeting — August 23, 2006 — Motion jade by Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. McNamara, to approve the mints of the special meeting held on August 3, 2006. VOTE: In favor — Mrs. Grady, Mrs. I orn ey, Mr. McNamara, and Mrs. MitIs; abstained--Mr. Thomas. 3.4 Executive Session — August 23, 2006 — Motion made by Mr. McNamara, seconded by Mrs. Mills, to approve the executive session of August 3, 2006. VOTE:: Ire favor — Mrs. Grady, Mrs. Rornl ey, Mr. McNamara, and Mrs. Mills; abstained—Mr. Thomas. IV. Public Forum There was no input this evening from the public. V. Acknowledgments 5.1 Later from Gus Frederick dated Iuly 11, 2006— Mrs. Grady read aloud this letter in which he thanks School Facilities Manager Brad Tripp and staff for their assistance in preparing for the Mashpee Community Picnic and Fireworks recently held at the high school.
