This award is made to that school which sows the greatest amount <br /> f sportsmanship by plass at all levels, starting with the r shm n program <br /> through the varsity program. This year,the football officials voted to award <br /> the Mashpee program displayed these traits in their players and coaches. <br /> .2 Letter from will wbend to Michael Persic dated-.September 2 <br /> 2006—This letter informed Mr. Persico that the application for funding was <br /> reviewed and the Board approval $1,000 for transportation to the Jazz <br /> Festival in New York City in March 2007. <br /> .3 Letter to Michael Bailey re AP Scholar Awards dated October 1 , <br /> 2006 — Jane Day, Housemaster at Mashpee High School, informed Mr. <br /> Bailey two students have earned the designation of AP Scholar by the <br /> College Board in recognition of their exceptional achievement on the <br /> college-level Advanced Placement Program Exams. These students are <br /> Tamara Allen and Shea Cadrin. <br /> 4.4 -13 0' Annual 1 IIA MSSA A Sportsmanship Summit —November <br /> 1 , 2 — Mr. Horne said this is an annual event for one coach and five <br /> students who have shown leadership skills in their junior year. This will be <br /> held at Gillette Stadium on November 14, 2006 from 8:30 a.rn.-3:00 p.m. <br /> Mrs. Bradshaw informed the Committee that Friday night's football game <br /> against Carver will feature former School Committee member Mollie Reis <br /> as the honorary co-captain. <br /> V. Communications There were n "communications"this evening. <br /> VI. Student Advisory Student Advisory Council representative Rachel Thomas reported the <br /> Council following: 1 the first term ends on November P with report cards <br /> distributed on November 14'h the SAT scores will go out November 2nd; <br /> academics are going well; parentteacher conferences are slated for <br /> November 16'h and 3 01h from 6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m.; college visits are <br /> underway; the fall play "Harvey" will be held on November 17 cn and 18th; <br /> nock election on November 3rd; Power Puff on November 141h; pep rally on <br /> November 21 for the Thanksgiving game to be played at Cape Cod Tech <br /> this year; and the FBLA will have their American Enterprise Day on <br /> November 10'. <br />
