MASHIPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE—REGULAR MEETING—NOVEMBER 15 2006 PAGE 8.7 Capital Improvement Program — Mr. Brown addressed the Committee with the FY08 capital improvement requests. MHS Air Conditioning 25,000 6. MHS Track Resurface 66,000 7. QS Door Replacement 42,000 . QS and MHS Seal coating 67,000 FY08 Total l qu sts $5849500 The prioritized FY08 capital improvement request list will be discussed at the November 1 thfinance meeting. 8.8 Energy Management Conservation — Policy EBCF, — After some discussion regarding this poli, a motion was made by Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. McNamara,to approve policy EBCF. VOTE: Unanimous .9 American Education Week,, I ov mb r 12-18, 2006 — In observance of this week, Mrs. Bradshaw said activities have been planned in the schools. 8,10 MCAS Review — Mrs. Bradshaw gave a power point presentation on the 2006 MCAS results. Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment Ellen Bankston addressed the Committee regarding MCAS data analysis with overall stag results, comparison with school/district with state results, town-to-town comparisons, individual student results, and curriculum analysis. 8.11 District Accountability Status — Mrs. Bradshaw explained that correspondence from Commissioner David Driscoll indicated that, based on the 2006 Adequate Yearly Rrogram (AYP) determination data, Title I is in need of improvement. 8.12 Acquisition of DPW Dump Troch — School Facilities Supervisor Brad Tripp announced that his department has talon possession of the DPW's offer of their 1996 F350 with plow and sander included and has approximately 84,000 miles on it. f
