MASHPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE—REGULAR MEETING-DECEMBER 6, 2006 PAGE 8.1.1 Environmental Fducation Coordinator — Selectman Dori Myers spore in support of this position on behalf of the flue Ribbon Committee. After his overview, Mrs. Mills asked ed Mr. Byers who would be funding this position and his response was non-committal. Mrs. Mitis also mentioned that an accounting of hOUrs spent performing ing the duties of this position would be required and if a school employee was hired, this position would not be spent during the school day. 8.2 Administrative Reports — Mrs. Grady questioned the 93.7% attendance rate at the high school during the month of November 2006, Mrs. St. Cir answered that the housemasters are currently researching the attendance in their respective houses. i Also, in her report, Mrs. Doyle mentioned a safety issue in the Coombs School parking lot. Mrs. Bradshaw said the police have been notified. Mr. Brown spoke to Mr. Tripp who will increase the wattage in the Coombs parking lot. Mrs. Grady questioned the difference in the number of special education students rrom October to November. Mrs. Beaudin will be contacted for a response. 8.3 Enrollments — Enrollments are follows for the month of November 2006: Coombs School—487; Quashnet School —564; high school—947 for a total district enrollment figure of 1,998.
