2 <br /> Heidi Fazzino, SEPAL President, and other SEPAL <br /> members presented awards to staff members that have <br /> made a difference in the life of a special education student. <br /> Mrs. Fazzino presented Ann Marie Finn with the top <br /> award. Two honorable mentions were: Mary Jane <br /> Marques and Jail Capello. firs. Fazzino discussed the <br /> winner's attributes and react a poen. <br /> IV. Approval of <br /> Minutes 2.1 School Committee S racial Meeting 17 07- Mrs. Mills <br /> motioned to accept the minutes, Mrs. Romkey seconded. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> 2.2 School Committee Finance Meeting 3/21/07- Mr . � <br /> Mills motioned to accept the minutes, Mrs. I ornke <br /> seconded. <br /> VOTE: .animous <br /> V. Public Forum Douglas Drew spoke about the sports policy at the <br /> Mashpe High School. He Felt there were some issues with <br /> F the present policy. He stated that he had thought it would <br /> be part of'the agenda for this meeting. He stated he would <br /> postpone his comments until this item is presented at a <br /> future School Committee meeting. <br /> Mr.,Meyers congratulated the new School Committee <br /> members on behalf of the Board of Selectman. He asked <br /> for an update on the Medicaid reimbursement. Mrs. <br /> - radshaw notified him that the school is currently working <br /> in conjunction with UMASS Medical to bring the billing up <br /> to date. She expects that the school will receive <br /> approximately the originally estimated amount. <br /> Mr. leers also spoke about scheduling building usage <br /> and Leisure Services. He would like to revisit this issue in <br /> the future. <br /> Chuck Gasior spoke that the school has set up a meeting to- <br /> discuss recycling. Mr. Gasior asked for feedback about his <br /> idea to have an excel spreadsheet of salaries at the meeting. <br /> Mrs.. Bradshaw notified him the School Committee would <br /> be discussing this.
