` MASHPEE SCHOOL COMMITTEE MITT REGULAR MEETING AUGUST 22, 2007 Minutes Attendees: Chairman MaryRose Grady, Ralph Marc lli, Janice Mills and Richard Bailey. Also in attendance was Superintendent ofSchools Ann Bradshaw. I. Call Meeting Mrs. Grady called the regular meeting to order at :ooprn in to Order the Quashnet School Library. II. Interviews for The Committee interviewed three candidates for vacancy School Committee 2.1 Kathy Stanley Vacancy 2.2 Peter Cohen 2.3 Kathy Lynch The appointment for the open scat will be decided;jointly at the Selectman's meeting on Wednesday, August 29th @6:30pm at Town Hall. Public welcome. III. Executive Session Motion made by Mrs. hills seconded by Mr. l arcclli to move to executive session at . opm. Roll Call vote- In favor- Mrs. Grady, Mr. Marcclli, Mrs. Mills, and Mr. Bailey; opposed- none. The regular meeting reconvened at '7:1 Opm IV. Approval of minutes 4.1 Regular Meeting-March 7, 2007. Motion made by Mrs. Mills -seconded by Mr. Marcelli to approve the minutes of the regular meeting Meld on March 7, 2007. VOTE: Unanimous us V. Public Forum: Terrie Cook spoke as a member of the Board of Selectmen. * Discussion regarding FY07 close out report. * Explained that the vote for new school committee member will take place jointly with committee and selectmen on Wednesday, 8129107 @ :30prn at Town Hall. Flooring at the Quashnet School looks superb. Public Policy forum to restrictive the way it is written. Gary Januelwicz, MHS gave update on solar panel installed at High School. The solar panel was installed at no cost to the schools. Suzanne Avtges—1TTA teacher representative gave an update.
