1 AS PEE HUMAN SERVICES COMMITTEE MINUTES <br /> SEPTEMBER 19, 2007 <br /> Present: Mary Scanlan,Norma I umin., Kevin'Verrill, Cynthia Green, Louise Patrick, and the <br /> intern from last year Carol l ells. She is interested in becoming an alternate. <br /> The meeting opened at 3:20 p.m. <br /> The Minutes from June 20, 2007 were approved unanimously. <br /> Louise reported that$2,300 unused cash from the MHS budget was returned to the Town. <br /> The Contracts went out to the Human Service Agencies and most have come back. <br /> The Neighborhood Coalition may be moving out of their shared space with MIHS. They pay half <br /> the rent ($780) and electric. MIS may need to request half the rent after they move. Family <br /> Continuity in Hyannis may be looking for space short-tern for their satellite office. There would <br /> be no clients, they just want office space. They are a crisis intervention group in Hyannis. <br /> Thanks-for-Giving Award will be on the next agenda for nomination. <br /> All MIS members were re-appointed for another term to run to June 3 , 2008. <br /> All members need to send a substitute representative in their place if they cannot make the <br /> meeting. We need to have a quorum. <br /> The members would like have a breakfast meeting retreat to brainstorm and discuss policy, <br /> budget, future format, speakers, etc..
