MASH EE SCHOOL COMMITTEE REGULAR MEETING ING January 2, 2008 Minutes Attendees: Chairman Maryr ose Grady, Ralph Mareelli, and Kathy Stanley. Janice hills and Richard Bailey were absent this evening. Also in attendance were Superintendent of Schools Ann Bradshaw and School Business Administrator Patricia Lugo. I. Call Meeting to order Mrs. Grady called the meeting to order at 6:33 p.m. in the Quashnet School library. II. Executive Session Mr. Mareelli made a notion to go into executive session at 6:34 p.m'., seconded by firs. Stanley. Toll Call vote: In favor- Mrs. Grady, Mr. 1 lar elli and Mrs. Stanley; opposed- none. The meeting reconvened at 7:00 p.m. III. Public Forum Suzanne Avtges wished the Committee a Happy New Year and thanked them for the key chains they had purchased as gifts for staff. Iv. Approval of Minutes Mr. Mar elli made a motion torove the School Committee regular meeting pp g g minutes of 12/12/07, seconded by Mrs. Stanley. VOTE; Unanimous V., Acknowledgements Mrs. Bradshaw reviewed the following acknowledgments nowledgments with the Committee: .1 Cape Cod Soccer Officials Association Sportsman .ward- The l ashpee High School Boys Soccer team was selected for this award. .2 Hugh O'Brien Youth Leadership Award- Kelsey woods has been selected for this award. 5.3 Massachusetts girls and women in Svort Day - Patricia Morano is the recipient of this award. 5.4 Mashyee Public Schools.St tiongly- Mrs. Bradshaw explained that student's artwork had been used in the creation of new stationery for the central office. The stationery has been printed by the central office so there is no cost involved.
