Mrs. Bankston stated that two parents are involved and anyone else who is interested in participating should contact the Superintendent's office. There was discussion about the cracked and broken cement at the Coombs School. The repairs will be made in the warmer weather. There was discussion about the Walker Partnership. Mrs. Thomas stated that the Waller School is a private school in Needham for students with social and emotional disorders. They offer consultation to schools and Provide workshops. There was discussion of the Program of Studies evening at Mashpee High School. Mrs. Mills stated that in the past the program of studies, and in particular new programs, have come before the School Committee for a vote. There was discussion about having a student intern in the Mashpee High School office. Mrs. Mills stated that she had expected more information at this meeting about special education staff training. Mrs. Mills inquired about having school committee meetings broadcast live from now on. Mrs. Stanley commended the audio visual student volunteers for all their hard work. There was discussion about the drop-out rate for Mashpee High School. Mrs. Bradshaw stated that the percentage of Mashpee students that drop out is well below the average for the state. 10,3 Enrollment The current enrollments are as follows: Kenneth C. Coombs School 474 Quashnet School 543 Mashpee High School 911 10A Suspension Report The suspension report was reviewed. 10.5 Monthly Calendar Mrs. Bradshaw reviewed the monthly calendar.
