Mrs. Bankston stated that two parents are involved and <br /> anyone else who is interested in participating should contact the Superintendent's <br /> office. <br /> There was discussion about the cracked and broken cement at the Coombs <br /> School. The repairs will be made in the warmer weather. <br /> There was discussion about the Walker Partnership. Mrs. Thomas stated that <br /> the Waller School is a private school in Needham for students with social and <br /> emotional disorders. They offer consultation to schools and Provide workshops. <br /> There was discussion of the Program of Studies evening at Mashpee High <br /> School. Mrs. Mills stated that in the past the program of studies, and in particular <br /> new programs, have come before the School Committee for a vote. <br /> There was discussion about having a student intern in the Mashpee High School <br /> office. <br /> Mrs. Mills stated that she had expected more information at this meeting about <br /> special education staff training. <br /> Mrs. Mills inquired about having school committee meetings broadcast live from <br /> now on. Mrs. Stanley commended the audio visual student volunteers for all <br /> their hard work. <br /> There was discussion about the drop-out rate for Mashpee High School. Mrs. <br /> Bradshaw stated that the percentage of Mashpee students that drop out is well <br /> below the average for the state. <br /> 10,3 Enrollment <br /> The current enrollments are as follows: <br /> Kenneth C. Coombs School 474 <br /> Quashnet School 543 <br /> Mashpee High School 911 <br /> 10A Suspension Report <br /> The suspension report was reviewed. <br /> 10.5 Monthly Calendar <br /> Mrs. Bradshaw reviewed the monthly calendar. <br /> School Committee Regular Minutes 412/08 <br />
