xI. 'transportation Bids <br /> IVIS. Lugo explained that 7 companies have picked up bids for the transportation <br /> contract beginning in September, 09. The bids open on January 21, 2009 at 1 0:00am at <br /> the Superintendent"s office. <br /> XII. Guidance Update <br /> Lindsay Kett, Guidance Counselor at MHS and Alan Winrow, Principal, MHS <br /> presented a slide show introducing "I avian e" part of Wort spa eK12r, a software <br /> program which would help both the school and families with the college process. .It <br /> would streamline the process and keep all data on one database. <br /> Dual enrollments—1HS students can get college credits from the following <br /> colleges, Johnson & 'males, Mass Maritime, U-Mass and Cape Cod Community. <br /> Drop out rate—Mashpee Schools has the lowest drop out rate on Cape Cod. <br /> 200112002r there was a spire, but in 200 6/2007 there were only 6 students. <br /> XIII, MOU 1IBy and Between the Town of Mashpee and the Mashpee Public <br /> Schools <br /> Postpone the MOU between the Torn of Mashpee and Mashpee Public Schools. <br /> XIV. Staff Participation in the 'teaching American History Grant Seminar <br /> Cape Cod Collaborative was awarded a 3 year grant from the federal government <br /> in 2007 to provide teachers with educational experiences that-Will support the teaching of <br /> American history. MaryKate O'Brien, and Robin Leggatt from the Quashnet School, <br /> Brian Brodie and Dana Smith from Mashpee High School will be participating for the <br /> second year.
