I ' <br /> School Committee Meeting <br /> Minutes <br /> 1 - -09 <br /> Present were: Richard Bailey, Janice Mills, Kathy Stanley, Ilaryose Grady and Jose <br /> Franco. Also in attendance were Ann Bradshaw and Maria Hortaridis. <br /> L Call Meeting to order <br /> Mr. Bailey called the regular meeting to order at 6:3 pm. <br /> II. *Executive Session <br /> Mr. Franco made a motion, seconded by Mrs. Stanley to move into Executive <br /> Session for the purpose of personnel, negotiation and litigation. <br /> Roll Call Vote: In favor-Mr. Bailey, Mrs. Mills, Mrs. Stanley, Mrs.. Grady and Mr. <br /> Franco; opposed -none <br /> III. Public Continent <br /> No public comment tonight <br /> Iv. SMPTE Trip to CaRfornia <br /> Arthur Joia and several of his students presented a power point of their trip to <br /> California. <br /> V, Volunteer Program overview <br /> Beth Wunder, volunteer Coordinator gage an informative overview of the <br /> volunteer program. <br /> VII Parent Access to Attendance and Grade Book <br /> Mr. Winrow informed the School Committee that the High School was ready to <br /> have the parents gain access to Power School for the purpose of checking on their child's <br /> attendance, schedules and grades. Several concerns were raised by the Committee <br /> regarding confidentiality and manipulation of reports. <br /> ''VII. 1 la hpee Middle School Update <br /> Mr. Babbitt presented ars informative power point outlining the many <br /> achievements and events that have been ongoing at the Middle School. <br /> v111. Student Advisory Council <br /> Olivia Fisher outlined the events that are happening at dies. <br /> 1 <br />
