Also <br /> present was Ann Bradshaw. <br /> I. Call Meeting to Order <br /> Mrs. Stanley called the meeting to order at 6-.45pm. <br /> 11, ' Public Comment <br /> The following persons spoke in support of Brian Hyde: Frank Lloyd, Molly Reis, <br /> Barbara Cotton, Heather Lakatos, Marli e Zafanopoulos, Liz Hendricks and Bill <br /> McNamara. <br /> 111. *Approval of Minutes <br /> Mrs. Mills made a motion, seconded her Mr. Bloomfield to approve the minutes of <br /> .tune 8, 2011. <br /> Roll Call vote: In favor—Mrs. Stanley, Mrs. Mills, Mr. McGee ee and Mr. Bloomfield; <br /> opposed—none. <br /> Iv. *Appointment of Special Education Administrator <br /> Mr. Bloomfield made a motion, seconded by Mrs. Trills to approve the <br /> appointment of Michele Brady as the Special Education Director. <br /> Roll Call Vote: In favor—Mrs. Stanley, Mrs. Mills, Mr. McGee and Mr. Bloomfield; <br /> opposed—none. <br /> V, Report from Liaison from Board of Selectman—Mike Richardson <br /> No report tonight. <br /> VI. Maureen Paxton—Food Service <br /> .1 *School Lunch Price Increase <br /> The National School Lunch Program, which sets nutritional guidelines and <br /> provides reimbursement for free and reduced priced lunch, is requesting all <br /> participating school districts take steps to ensure that the price of lurch for <br /> students who are not eligible for free or reduced is equal to the reimbursement <br /> rates for those who are eligible. Mrs. Paxton is asking the Committee to approve <br /> five cent increase for the FYI 2 school year. The schools are permitted t <br /> gradually increase the price over several years to meet the target of$2.46.Witb an <br /> increase of five cents it would bring lunch prices to $2. 0. <br /> The Committee asked that Mrs. Paxton bring back a dollar amount of how <br /> much this increase would impact a family over the course of a year. <br /> 1 <br />
