Mrs. Bradshaw has asked the Committee to consider granting a leave of absence <br /> for a paraprofessional so that she can pursue an 8 week position as a full time teacher in <br /> another district. <br /> Mrs. hills made a motion to deny the request for the leave of absence. <br /> Roll Call Vote: In favor—Mrs. Mills and Mr. McGee; opposed—Mrs. Stanley, Mr. <br /> Franco and Mr. Bloomfield. <br /> Mrs. Stanley made a motion,, seconded by Mr. Bloomfield to approve the 8 week <br /> leave of absence for the paraprofessional. <br /> Roll Call Vote: In favor—firs. Stanley, Mr. Franco and Mr. Bloornfield; opposed— , <br /> Mrs, Mills and Mr. McGee. Passed -2 <br /> 7.2 FY12 Budd <br /> Mrs. Bradshaw gave ars update on the FY12 Budget <br /> 7.3 Recommendation for Pilot Pro ani: Bus Monitors for Elementary <br /> Schools <br /> A recommendation was brought forth that would allow the elementary <br /> schools to pilot a program for bus monitors. This would involve hiring 8 people <br /> to ride the buses at the end of the school day for approximately 1 hour. The <br /> funding would cone from the school choice funds each elementary school will be <br /> receiving. <br /> New Teacher Orientation <br /> August 25, 2011 is a luncheon at MHS at 12noon. <br /> Convocation is August 31, 2011 <br /> VIII. Proposed Selectman's Article to Reduce School budget by $200,000 <br /> Mrs. Stanley made a brief statement regarding the above. <br /> Ix. Specifically Unassigned/Un fin i shed Business <br /> Mr. Bloomfield will begin to research the enrollments in our school district. <br /> X, New Business <br /> No new business <br /> XI.
