ADDENDUM C <br /> Mashpee Public Schools Building/Maintenance/Grounds Scope of Services <br /> WORK ORDER REQUESTS FROM STAFF <br /> Requests that come in from staff are first reviewed and approved or denied by the <br /> building principal. They are then forwarded to the maintenance department where <br /> they are reviewed for scheduling, ordering stock or supplies. Then they are <br /> assigned. When they have been completed, the technician returns them and the <br /> School Facilities Supervisor processes them as complete. Some common requests <br /> are lights out, new pencil sharpener, door lock sticking, hot, cold, move furniture, <br /> assemble f umiture, etc. <br /> PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE <br /> Routinely maintain all HVAC equipment. This includes changing the filters, checking <br /> or changing the fan bets, lubricating the motor and noting any anomalies for repair. <br /> Routine vehicle maintenance. <br /> Perform annual inspections by outside contractors such as boilers,fire alarm, burglar <br /> alarm, fire sprinkler,fire extinguisher generator,chemical storage, water treatment for <br /> heating and cooling systems, bleachers, Playgrounds, roof whenever possible. <br /> ATHLETIC FIELD MAINTENANCE <br /> Set up and maintain playing fields for the particular season <br /> 1. Fall-two football,two soccer,two field hockey,two yx football practice <br /> areas,one Pop Warner football field <br /> 2. Spring- three baseball,two to three softball,two lacrosse,and spring <br /> track <br /> GROUNDS MAINTENANCE <br /> • Try to keep grass mowed and trimmed,curbs and walkways edged, gardens <br /> mulched and weeded. <br /> • Maintain irrigation systems <br /> • Keep lots painted and property signed <br /> • Keep walkways and roads plowed and sated <br /> • Proper safety fiber level in the playgrounds <br />
