Tony Galla, Dan Coggin and Sid Golub were unable to attend,. The meeting was held at the Hashpee Town Mall. Ms. King asked how the group felt about the Leisure Service Departments budget. Mr. Bacigalupi Motioned t approve $�46,531 Salaries and $21,350 Expenses for the Leisure Services F 97 departmental l budget# Mike Kumin seconded the Motion and members approved 4- . Ms. King noted that the Selectmen have recommended to date $23 ,002,103 . The Finance Committee has recommended $22 ,838,252. Ms. King asked how the Committee felt about the Board of Health's Public Assistance Progr m, The group decided to discuss this at their next meeting, Ms. Xing also mentioned that she has begun to work on the Finance Committee's Long Range Plan and with these new numbers the Town is already in the red for next year. Articles Special - The group reviewed the Special Town Warrant Draft 3) . See attached for description of Articles and Finance Committee"s recommendations. Ms. King stated that hopefully Articles 1 and 2. will be pulled. Mr. Bacigalupi explained that Article 3 has a deficit of $29,000 due to the Police Department's training which will be happening in June. Juan Baci-galupi Motioned to approve ArticlO 3 . Mike Kumin seconded the Motion and members approved 4- 0. Mr. Bacigalupi also Motioned to approve Article 4 'for $4,000 t the Police Departm ntts Expense Account, Mr. Kumin seconded the Motion and -members approved 4-0, Mr,. Bacigalupi Motioned to approve Articles 5 through 9. Mir. Kumin §econded the Motion and members approved 4-0. Article 10 which is being submitted by the Finance Committee is the Stabilization Article. Ms. King stated that Free Cash was certified at $798,,000, The Articles will oast approximately $264 ,000 from the Special Town Warrant, leaving $534,000 approximatl , After a short discussion, Mr. Bacigalupi Motioned to place $534 ,000 int Stabilization. Mire Kumin seconded and members approved 4-m-0 . Thi Article will contain the amount of $534,000.
