MASHPEE FINANCE COMMITTEE MINUTES <br /> MAY 51 1996 <br /> MEETING COMMENCED AT : OPM! <br /> Finance Committee members present : Marcia King, Chairman; Alec <br /> Watt; Mike umin; Juan Bacigalupi; Sid Golub; Dan Goggin and Tony <br /> Gallo. The meeting was held at the Mashpee Middle School in the <br /> gymnasium. <br /> Please note for the record that this meeting was not audio taped. <br /> Minute <br /> Dan Goggin Motioned to approve the Minutes of April 16th as <br /> written. Mr. Golub seconded the Motion and members approved this <br /> set of Minutes by a vote of 6-0, Mr. Gallo abstaining. <br /> Ms . King reminded. Mr. Goggin that he would discuss the Treasurer' s <br /> request for a 6 pair increase. The Finance Committee had voted to <br /> give her , Mr. Watt would discuss the Town Clerk' s request for <br /> a pay increase of 20W . The Finance Committee agreed to give her <br /> 6% . Mr. Eacigalupi would discuss the 'Town Mall, Mr. Golub the <br /> Department of Public Works and Ms . King would discuss the schools . <br /> Mr. Goggin would handle the Board of Health Article for the $5, 600 <br /> water hookups . 'There was no recommendation for Eufflehead Bay. <br /> Mr. Golub mentioned a possible problem regarding the Articles for <br /> full time positions in the Assessor' s Office and Tax Collector' s <br /> Offices by the Water District . Ms . King stated that the Finance <br /> Committee never discussed these Articles, because they assumed the <br /> Water District were paying for these positions . Ms . King asked if <br /> anyone would like to reopen this? She could get Ms . 1 ommel a er up <br /> to talk about this . The Committee agreed that they would like to <br /> hear from a Water District Commissioner. Ms . Rommelmeyer confirmed <br /> that these Articles would be funded by the Water District. One <br /> position is part of the Clerical Union and one position is pt if <br /> the PAP. <br /> Selectman Caf fern asked the Finance Committee to support her with <br /> her recommendation to move Articles 4, 51 7 and 9 ahead of the <br /> Omnibus budget . Ms. King stated that Ms . Caf fyn should do what she <br /> needed to. The Finance Committee had enough to discuss . <br /> The meeting suspended so that the special Town Meeting and the <br /> Annual Town Meeting could begin, The Fi <br />
