A copy is attachedY . New ..Business The Cormnittee spoke about a new member f or the i t Board. It was asked that Joyce Mason be notified in the Board of Selectmen office, so that she could advertise the vacant seat. The Committee agreed that they would like applicants to apply prior to June 30th.. Mr. Golub would send notice to the newspapers. Mr. Goggin mentioned that Articles will. need to be submitted on the Finance Committee' s behalf, n regard to Stabil i ation. The first Article will move Free Cash to stabilization and the second will move money out of Stabilization to Stabilize the Tac Rate, Where will also be an Article re aiding the CI P, Mr. Goggin will find out the amount of Free Cash avilable. He will also research the Overlay Account which may have a significant balance. Mr. Golub asked if they wanted to decide on what pe centage will be used t stabilize the 'fax Rate. Mr. Goggin was figuring on to lot. Mr. Golub mentioned that he had again spoke to Moodys to di cuss the issue of Free Cash v. Stabilization. Mr. Golub will draft the Article involving the CIP. It was asked that the wording for the Stabilization ArtO'cles of past Meetings be prepared (attached) . Mr. Goggin mentioned that he would al so speak to. the Town Accountant regarding the u e of Stabilization to lower the Tax Rate. Sir meetings. The Committee agreed to Meet on JunO 11, 1996 at 7PM at the Senior Center. The meeting adjourned at :10 PM. The next meeting will be scheduled to meet on Tuesday, June 11, 19.96 at 7PM.
