Wednesday,March 1 I Finance Committee Meeting,Town Hall, 6:30 RM, <br /> Tentatively meet with C.I.P.,Leisure Services,and <br /> Data Processing <br /> Monday,March 16 Meet with the Selectmen. <br /> (Chairman watt will check on this meeting.) <br /> SCHOOL BUDGET: <br /> The Finance Committee reviewed the Education budget. They discussed the Foundation <br /> Budget numbers along with the budget recommendation of the Selectmen. In addition,they <br /> discussed the tax impact on the town with the Education budget. <br /> It was discussed that along with the Foundation Budget,they would reed to acid ars additional <br /> $600,000 for benefits and a portion of expenses that arc spent at town level which are <br /> applicable to the schools. <br /> Motion to Acceot Lon Range Pfau School Foundation <br /> Budget Number: <br /> Mr. Golub made a motion that the Finance Committee accept the <br /> Dong age Plan Foundation Budget number o $10,769,997 as <br /> their recommendation for the School budget level for this year, <br /> keeping in mind that there is another$600,000 of school related <br /> expenses at a minimum that would not be included in the above <br /> number and would be in excess of what the Mate's foundation <br /> formula would call for. <br /> Second by Mr. Coggin. <br /> Vote: Unanimous 7- . <br /> FINANCE COMMITTEE IMITTEE NEXT MEEMG: <br /> The next meeting of the Finance Committee will be held on Tuesday,March 3, 1998,at the <br /> Mashpec Town Hall beginning at 6:30 P.M. <br /> ADJOURNMENT: <br /> Motion made by Mrs. Coula t to adjourn the Finance Committee <br /> meeting at 9:30 P.I . <br /> Second by Mr. Golub. <br /> Vote:Unanimous 7-0. <br /> esp cffid submitted, <br /> 4 <br /> ulia Zan 1 oard oarSecre <br />
