f <br /> L <br /> -Mashpee Finance Committee <br /> l rotes <br /> Tuesday, July 7, 1998 <br /> Present: Nancy GouLam Chairman <br /> Dean Arden, Steve Cashman, Sidney Golub, Alec Watt <br /> Absent: Tony Gallo,Mike Iumin <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairwoman Goulaart at 6:37 p.m. at the Mashpee Town Hall, <br /> Meeting Room #1, on Tuesday, .duly 7, 1998. <br /> 1 EWT S: <br /> Tuesday, June 18. 1998,BMW Session <br /> Motion made by Mr. Golub to approve the Finance Committee <br /> Minutes of Tuesday, Jure 18, 1998,as submitted. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Cashman. <br /> Vote:Unanimous. 4- (Alec Watt not present). <br /> FINANCE COMMITTEE MEMBER STEVE CASM4AN: <br /> Steve Cashman informed the Finance Cormmittee members of his meeting with the Hoard of <br /> Selectmen. Mr. Cashman noted that the Selectmen gave him their support and informed hire, <br /> that he should abide by the conflict of interest laws as a Finance Committee member. He <br /> stated that the Selectmen stated that the issue with hien being a member of the Finance <br /> Committee will come up at Town Meeting in the fall. He stated that the issue will b <br /> addressed with the clarification or change of the existing by-law. <br /> Mr. Arden questioned what will happen at the October Town fleeting. Mr. Golub stated that <br /> a warrant would be placed on the agenda clarifying, modify n&or nullifying the existing by- <br /> law. <br /> FINANCE COMMITTEE NEXT MEETING: <br /> Amst Meeting,-.Tesda v.Auggu st 11.- <br /> The <br /> :The Finance Committee's meeting for August will be held on Tuesday,August 11,at the <br /> Mashpee Town Hall,beginning at 6:30 P.M. <br /> (Note:Finance Committee meeting scheduled for Tuesday,July 28,will be cancelled) <br />
