ARTICLES WITH FINANCE COMMITTEE POSITION IO S "RECOMMEND AT TOWN MEETIl G": Chairwoman Goulart and Finance Committee members discussed the following Articles which the Finance Committee has taken a position as Recommend at Town Meeting: October Town Meth Article 1 —offset Fiscal Year 1999 Tax Leyr Chairwoman Goulart noted that the amount to offset the tax levy is at 1,400,000. October Town Mcefing,Article 1 —Stabilization Account: Chairwoman Goulart noted that the amount to be transferred to the Stabilization Account is 30, . October Town Meeting,Article 1 —Two Additional Firefighter EMT Positions: Chairwoman Goulart noted that the Finance Committee has not PVen their position yet on this Article. Mr. watt and Chairwoman Goulart stated that they are in approval of the Article being passed.. The Finance Committee discussed Ar#.icle 13 concerning the hiring of two additional firefighters.
