A national assembly on the nutter of gun reform is <br /> also planned in Boston on March 24, 20184 Board of Selectmen member Andrew R. Gottlieb extended <br /> his personal empathy by offering Mashpee students guidance and counseling to interact with the <br /> political system as well as providing assistance to students who do not have the financial and logistical <br /> means to attend this demonstration. <br /> The Board of Selectmen agreed to conduct outreach with the School Depallment on security <br /> procedures. Town Manager Rodney C. Collins indicated on the government side, the Mashpee Police <br /> Department has conducted productive security training measures with the staff at the Mashpee Town <br /> Hall, <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Discussion on Proposed Meetigg.Date and Agenda with the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe at'Tribal <br /> Headquarters on Mondgy, March 51, 2018 5-630-7.30__p <br /> After considering joint meeting dates, the Board of Selectmen agreed to meet on Monday, <br /> March 5, 2018 from 5:3 o p.m. to 7:3 o p.m. with the Mashpee wampanoag Tribe at the Mashpee <br /> Wampanoag Tribe Community& Government Center, 483 Great Neck Road South, Mashpee. <br /> The meeting would be held in conformance with the open Meeting Law and televised lige on <br /> Mashpee Tv, Channel 99, <br /> The Board of Selectmen was in agreement with the substantive agenda topics proposed by Selectman <br /> Gottlieb as follows; <br /> 1) Tribal dews on Compliance with Mashpee Shellfish Regulations <br /> 2) Tribal Interest in Allowing the Town to Use Capacity at their Treatment Plant and <br /> who would be the Lead Negotiators for the Tribe <br /> 3) Tribal Dousing Plans and Compliance with Applicable Zoning and Building Requirements <br /> 4 Opportunities to Jointly Pursue Funds for wastewater Management and Economic <br /> Development <br /> 5) Status of Land in Trust and Ramifications if there is a Positive or a Negative Determination <br /> Agenda topics initially proposed by the Mashpee Wampa.noag Tribal Chair for the initial meeting <br /> include; <br /> 1 Introductions <br /> 2) Scheduling of Future Meetings <br /> 3 Designation of Liaisons <br /> 4) Future Agenda Items <br /> The Board of Selectmen Chairman agreed to communicate with.the Tribal Chahman to review the <br /> agenda topics proposed for the March 5, 2018 meeting. <br />
