lower stream embankments. He showed visuals of the erosion. Federal Funding has been <br />allocated for this almost $300,000 for permitting, engineering and construction. The Town is <br />required to match 25% of which we have the money in the Land and Maintenance Account and we <br />are also getting $40,000 from Southport. The Agent said he is in the process of working with <br />NRCS and he will be putting together an RFP for hydraulic study of the fish ladder to see if it is the <br />appropriate size to handle the impoundment of John’s Pond and based on that study, we will see if <br />the structure is adequate or not and addressing the erosion and sedimentation loading will also <br />come out of that study. <br />Motion: Mr. Sweet moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Mr. Smith.
