Whritienour and the Selectmen while they were in session in a conference morn at the i ashpee Ride School on Monday,May 3, 1999,at 7:03 P.M. OMNIBUS BUDGET: Modcrator Jeremy Carter;Mr Whntenour;and ft-Swere discussing the wording o May Annual Town Meeting Article 3 concerning the passage,at an election,of a Proposition 1-1/2-overridevote-permitting-the-Town to-aswss-an-additional$1,150,900 in real estate and personal property taxes for fiscal year 2000. . W. w ntenour explained this-Artici .- He noted that the wording of this-Article makes the vote on this Article contingent on the passage of an override. M'. Writenour stated that the way the contingent-vote works is that you vote the larger number but you make a certain amount of it contingent on the override; so,if the override doesn't pass, it automatically reduces-the amber by the-override-mount. There was discussion as to the order of the motion versus the review of the line items in the 01nidbu .
