Fred Blythe said he would draft the article. <br /> REVIEW OF BUDGETS: <br /> Finance Committee -$10,000: <br /> The goal of the Finance Committee this year is to establish a realistic operating budget,establish a Finance <br /> policy statement,reorganize the Fiance Committee budget and issue a formal policy mission statement. Also, <br /> they are requesting a$200,000 reserve fund,with the approval of the Selectmen. The budget incl dcs the <br /> printing and nailing of two warants,training,and administrative oasts. <br /> Jim Morgan an made motion to approve the Finance Committee budget as submitted. <br /> Seconded by Carlton Meredith. <br /> Voted- 'nanimous. <br /> Fred Blythe had to leave the meeting at 8:00 p.m. <br /> Accounting -$146 6.00: <br /> Maryanne Gibbs made motion to approve the Accounting budget as submitted. <br /> Jeff Arnold seconded. <br /> Voted—Unanimous <br /> Assessors - 1898. <br /> Maryanne Gibbs made motion to approve the Assessors'budget noting that is was a level funded budget. <br /> Seconded by Carlton Meredith <br /> Voted—Unammous <br /> 'treasurer/Tax Collector: <br /> Board members discussed the medical insurance figure in the budget stating that they are only asking$940,,000 <br /> but medical insurance is going up 3 0%next year. Board members agreed to hold and ask them to come in to <br /> explain. <br /> Personnel - 18 [ l : <br /> The Personnel budget is up$8,000 from last year. Board members discussed the vacant position on the budget. <br /> The Board agreed to hold the personnel budget for further information. <br /> Maryanne Gibbs said she would ask Bob Writenour to provide them with a separate document with all new <br /> hires listed so that they can sec the total cast of increases in salaries. <br /> MIS-Data Processing- 1 # <br /> Maryanne Gibbs made notion to approve the MIS budget. <br /> Seconded by Jim Morgan sig that there was no change in salarics. <br /> Voted—4.1 <br /> Gibbs, Mere"Morgan—Approved <br /> Arnold—Opposed <br /> ,lin Morgan commented that Steve Buss invited the Finance Committee to put a page on the web and they could <br /> put out their mission statement or issue a policy statement. <br />
