Maryanne Gibbs seconded. VOTED: Unani mous—7- School: .Discussion followed regarding the school department figure the Finance Conuitittee previously re onunended. It was the consensus of the Board that it is impossible to give the School Department the aniount theywant. ant. The only thing they can cut is SPED. They could tale it out of the School budget and then would have line item control. It maybe something to address in the next budget. Further discussion followed relative to grant monies that have not been processed and could be forthcoming. Also, discussed was the amomit of 111onies encuunbered last year by the School Department. Maryanne Gibbs made motion to approve a School budget of 15,752,471,which is the amount the Board of Selectmen recommended. Bean Arden seconded. Fred Blythe suggested putting a hold on the capital inVro ernent items in the amount of$215,000 as they need further explanation. Maryanne Gibbs amended her motion to approve the School budget less the capital budget amount and the Cape Cod Regional Technical School budget aluount,to an amount of$15,100,000.00.
