Finance Committee Minutes <br /> August 27,2002 , <br /> Page Two. <br /> Discussion followed regarding establishing a vehicle policy in the Town. Vehicles can be passed down to <br /> ether departments when a new one is purchased. The Board members will discuss at the next meeting. <br /> Article <br /> To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer from available funds$50,000 to the Town <br /> Insurance Expense Account, <br /> Kathy Lynch made motion to approve,seconded by Terme Cook. <br /> VOTED— -0—Unanimous to approve <br /> Article <br /> To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer from available funds$10,000 to the Legal and <br /> Engineering Account. <br /> Kathy Lynch made motion to approve,seconded by Fred Blythe. <br /> VOTED— -0—Unanimous to approve$5,000 to the Legal and Engineering Account of the Charter <br /> Commission. <br /> (Lean Arden excused himself from the vote) <br /> Article <br /> To see if the Town will Grote to appropriate and transfer from available funds$10,000 to the Cemetery <br /> Expense Account. <br /> No motion <br /> Article <br /> To see if the Town will transfer$3,000 from the Harbormaster Salary&Wage Account to the Herring <br /> Warden Salary&Wage Account. <br /> Jeff Arnold made motion to approve,seconded by Jinn Morgan. <br /> VOTED— -0—unanimous to approve <br /> Article 7: <br /> To see if the Town will vote to create the position of End User Support 19 hours per week)under the <br /> Town's personnel Administration Flan,Grade 11,Step 1,and to further appropriate and transfer$11,238, <br /> with said funds to be distributed as follows: $11,000 to the MIS Salary/Wage Account and$238 to the <br /> Medicare Account, <br /> Dean Arden made motion to approve,seconded by Jim Morgan. <br /> VOTED— -2 <br /> Arden,Arnold,Blythe,Morgan—approve <br /> Cook,Lynch-disapprove <br /> Article 18: <br /> To see if the Town will vote to authorize and empower the Board of Selectmen to prepare a plan laying out <br /> and defining Grenadier Lane and to accomplish said purpose and for expenses incidental and related <br /> thereto,the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds for appropriation a surn <br />
