i <br />� MASHPEE FINANCE COMMITTEE <br /> MINUTES <br /> TUESDAY, February 24, 2D04 <br /> Present Chairman Carlton Meredith, Kathleen Lynch, Scott <br /> Wellington,Frederick Blythe, Dean .Arden, Gerald'Ununa <br /> Absent James Turner(Dean Arden had.to leave early) <br /> Guest Fire Chief George Baker <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Chairman Meredith called the meeting to ander at 7:00pm in Meeting Roam <br /> No. 1 at Mashpee TownHall. <br /> A TION/ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> Board Secretary Terrie Pearson has submitted resignation due to personal i <br /> reasons. She has consented to remain on until a replacement is hired. <br /> Reserve fund balance is $67,40U <br /> Expense fund balance is $5,712.12 <br /> OLD BUSMSS <br /> No items were on the agenda <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Reserve Fund Transfer <br /> Chief Baker submitted a request to transfer$25,000 from the Reserve Fund <br /> to the FY2004 Fire Capital Account. The amount represents the town's <br /> stipulated portion of a federal grant request to purchase and customize a <br />� brush breaker. The funds are to be set aside pending approval of the <br /> FY2005 Capital hnprovement Program at the May Town Meetm' g- If the <br /> CIP is approved, the $25,000 will be returned to the reserve fund. It was <br /> moved and seconded that the request be approved. <br /> VOTE: 6 — 0 in favor,Unanimous. <br />
