George Schmidt seconded the motion. <br /> The Tnotion was unanimously approved. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Transfers <br /> Town Manager JoycejMason requested a transfer of$15,000 from the Finance Committee <br /> Reserve Fund to the veterans Services line item to cover projected additional benefit expenses. <br /> Charles Ga for made a motion that the Finance Committee approve the transfer of $15,000 from <br /> the Finance Com' vitt e Reserve Cash fund to the Veterans.Serie lime 'item to corer projected <br /> additional expenses. George Schmidt seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously <br /> approved. <br /> Fihalize Torn Meeting Warrant <br /> The preamble to the Town fleeting Warrant, prepared by Charles Dior, was reviewed by the <br /> Committee, whoja reed that although the information might be a challenge for the general p0lic.to <br /> fully grasp, it was very clearly presented. <br /> • <br /> Finance Committee Chairman's Letter <br /> Christopher Avis read aloud for the television audience his draft letter to the voters for inclusion in <br /> the Town Warrant. The following additions to the letter were suggested by the Committee <br /> members: <br /> -- land sales recommended to increase revenue streams (articles 2 , 273 28) <br /> - severer and watr district article � <br /> - school cornmitt e agreements after many joint meetings with Finance Committee liaisons <br /> George Schmidt and Mark Davini <br />
