Fire Station Building Committee Minutes 2 June 30,, 1998 REPO ` lw ARS TELT: It is the consensus of the Committee to relocate the conference room to the east elevation. The same translucent roof line that is designed over the watchroorn shall be incorporated over the conference room to bring more visibility and definition to the entrance of the building. If this option if not feasible, the Architect was directed to design the extension in the least disruptive manner. Access relative to the turn out gear room, stair, elevator, and operations room will be reviewed regarding this concern. Additional windows for the administrative wing, east and west were considered. Landscaping improvements were discussed. The Committee recommended the Architect place the flag pole closer to the front entrance of the building. The Architect was also directed to provide elevations for the basement to include windows and related lighting schematics. Mr. Sweeney indicated that he gill provide revised elevations and design schematics to the Committee at the next scheduled meeting. All revisions shall be approved before cost estimates are obtained.
