The
architect, Wallace Floyd, is noted to be in disagreement. The original
estimate for the roo 're-framing presented a cost estimate in the range of
$16,000 to $20,000. It is the architect's directive to keep the project
moving forward at this time. The price quotation is expected to be re-
negotiated, and further clarification will be obtained from Ammann
Whitney, structural engineers as to the type of matefial that is
recommended in the roof design reconfiguration proposal. A report is also
pending on the conceptual cost of the roof re-framing design necessitated
y structural code requirements.
Truss v. Conventional Frame: Itis the consensus of the Building
Committee to remain with the design criteria for conventional framing as
initially detailed in the design of the-building.
