2 <br /> Fire Station Building Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> April 11, 2001 <br /> REVIEW&APPROVAL of PAYMENT REQUISITIONS: <br /> Briggs ineering &Testing - $1,085.00; <br /> Approved by Clerk of the works <br /> Bills. $565-$90-$375-$55 = $1,085.00 <br /> Motion made by Mr. Stone to approve payment to Briggs <br /> Engineering&'Vesting in the amount o $1,085.00 as recommenced. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Baker. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. <br /> PROJECT ECT oVEIyl w; <br /> The Fire Station Building Committee reviewed issues relative to project <br /> completion with the Clerk of the Works. Eleven key issues were <br /> identified in addition to twenty-seven minor punch list items. <br /> Pending issues relative to phase i of project completion includes work <br /> associated to the elevator vent, air conditioner units, generator, boiler, and <br /> missing locker units. Alternates to the bunt room quarters will also be <br /> considered. The stainless steel sial and washer/extractor machine is <br /> scheduled for delivery as is furniture items previously authorized. <br /> The Building Committee related concern with respect to the present color <br /> of the front and rear stairwells. The Committee will seely credit on this <br /> issue or request that the correct color is painted on the stairwell locations. <br /> Additional lighting will be also considered for this area. It was noted that <br /> the stairwell ceiling was installed according to plan, but it does not allow <br /> fr the installation o .ceiling lige fixtures. <br /> 4 <br /> Discussion followed with respect to the pinch list. It was noted that a <br /> punch list is often prepared after a newly constructed building is <br /> professionally cleaned. Standen Construction has offered to conduct <br /> minor cleaning in an effort to move forward with a punch list. The matter <br /> of developing a preliminary punch list will be discussed with the project <br /> architect. The building should be professionally cleaned thereafter, <br /> The Building Committee requested that the new building be lode . There <br /> shall be no admittance unless authorized by the Clerk of the works. The <br /> projected date of May 15this targeted for the relocation moving process, <br />
