FitzGerald gFriend's Representative <br /> Absent: Mary done <br /> Minutes of previous meeting accepted with correction of Mrs. Waits' name* <br /> Reports : <br /> Librarian's repot as printed. -_k <br /> Mrs. Howard to work Mon -1 Tues 6-9 Sat 9-12 Total of 10 hours. <br /> Friend' report: Executive committee Aug 13 10:30 AM in library. <br /> Tea to bonor volunteers to be discussed. <br /> Communications: Mary Fordham -resignation due to retirement effective <br /> September 4, 1981. <br /> Old Business: <br /> Selectmen made selection .of Mrs. Reward's appointment. Appointment <br /> signed by Selectmen <br /> Trustees will sign papers -for rehiring aide. <br /> Discussions: <br /> 1 Resignation 'of Library Trustees <br /> A. Recormendations -.for replacement <br /> Mr. and Mrs. Harold Donner were recommended by A. Swenson. They <br /> are to be contacted. - <br /> - B. <br /> ontacted,_ . Selectmen ,will sit in on selection. <br /> Trustees selected have to be voted �n d�xring May 19$2 election. <br /> D. Selectmen to be .informed of the 2 available positions. <br /> E. Article to be put in newspaper to advise public of the opening <br /> positions for Trustee. <br /> 2 Discussion of job description for Library Assistant <br /> A. Starting salary $4.28 per hour, <br /> B. - Job description -accepted as written. <br /> 3 Friends of the'Llibrary will hold a Tea at the Senior Citizen's <br /> Center - PM on a Sunday to honor Mrs. Fordham. late to be <br /> announced. <br /> Volunteer Tea to have Certificate of Recognition to be given to each <br /> volunteer. <br /> Mr. Middleton .not to -use -Library, as he will not be holding group. <br /> Meeting adjourned at 7:45 PM. <br /> Next meeting Wednesday Sept. 16,- 1981.
