Towner <br /> reported the following nominations : Gloria Selander <br /> for Chairmaa and Ann Tanneyhill for Secretary , There <br /> were no other nominations , and the slate was closed . <br /> Effects on Budget FY -84 o Annual Town Meeting* The <br /> Finance Committee ' s recommendation was ' $587 lass than <br /> the amount requested , and was then decreased a second <br /> time . Chairman Robertson will ask Mr. Blythe , Chairman <br /> of the Finance Committee for an explanation* in the <br /> winter or spring, the Trustees will ask for a transfer <br /> of $1 , 300 so that there will be enough money to meet <br /> needs . erda Sano $5 . 62 per. hour Mar,j orie Howard <br /> $4 . 75 per hour) . A cording to the "trustees contract with tie Librarian <br /> she must be informed before next month i-f she is to v <br /> be retained . it was unanimously voted that the Trus-tees <br /> give a very favorable recommendation , and indicate, that <br /> Diane Kingsley will be retained for the remainder of <br /> her contract . <br /> Other Business <br /> There was discussion on candidates to fill the vacancy caused <br /> by the resignation of Arris Mck.inley (Term to expire 1985) <br /> Florence Lucas Mrs . Louise Tyler , Erick Janssen , Beth <br /> Coon were s uges ted , It was noted that Florence Lucas is <br /> a part-tine substitute librarian and could not be considered . <br /> There was also an expression that it might be wise to find <br /> a male Trustee . Chairman Robertson will talk with Mrs . Coon <br /> and also with Susan Van Tol, former Trustee , to find out <br /> if she has any suggestions@ <br /> There was no new business .
