III Reports A. _ Librarian ; In discussion of the total book circulation listed in the August report , the question was ' raised as to the number of card-holders and the number -of individuals who used the library each week . The -card holders are seven hundred and seven, Mrs . Kingsley was asked to take a court of the number of individuals using the library ih a week. Friends of" the Library : diary Fordham expressed disappointment of the Friends in the results of the town meeting, which led to the shelving some of the fund-raising plans , The book saps and bake saps will be held. The Cahoon print , donated b . A i-s McKinley has been framed, the framing paid for by a anonymous donor. The next meeting of the friends will vote o whether or not go 'forward with the silent auction of the print .. The Friends will continue to accumulat-e funds in the treasury for the future benefit of the library . The rental or purchase of a book charger for the library was iscu sed again, (Reutal $195 per year, expiring in November. Purchase price approximately $845 . ) It was moved , seconded, and unanimously voted that the librarian be requested to send a Letter to the Friends , to be presented at the September27 meeting , asking for the gift of a hook charger to the library . Building Committee : Mrs . Selander report.ed on activities of the Build_ing Committee , The - discouragement of the chairman was evident at the last meeting of the group .
