Board of Library Trustees April 9 , 1984 Page 2 - V OLD BUSINESS parkin Lot : There has been no further word -on wank on the parking lot , although the bushes have been 'cut back in preparation , and funds have been put into the account Articles for Town Meetin The two articles for the Town Meeting will appear in the warrant . (See attachment) - Expiration of Terms of Trustees : The two Trustees whose terms expire A. Swenson an'd A. Rockwood) have taken out the appropriate papersfor election . I NEW BUSINESS Selection, of Nominatinommittee - Change in Laws According to the By-Laws , the Dominating Committee is to be appointed by the Chairperson two months prion to the Annual Meeting , and shold present a slate of officers at, th.e Annual Meeting . The fact that the full complement Of Trustees will not be .in place until after the May' 12 Town Election , makes this action impossible . Therefore , a change in Article lI Section 2 was discussed . On motion by o. Robertson and seconded by B . Towner , it was unanimously voted that the Annual. Meeting shall be held at the time of the regular ,meeting in July of each year , and that written notice of the change be sent to members at least ten days prior to the May 14 , 1984 meeting. . A. Fit Gerald was appoint-ed chairman of the Dominating Committe-e to present ,a slate of officers at the July meeting. May Meeting It was agreed that if the Town Meeting ,. scheduled for Mair 7 is adjourned to May 14 , the Trustees will meet on Tuesday , May 1-5 . Library Si.g_ns,: In light of the changed hours (voted on at the December 12 , 1983 meeting) � Mrs . ' Kingsley noted that the hours on the library sign needed change , that the cost coup probably be defrayed from monies still in the Renovation Account and requested approval for this action. wring the di scussion , the point was brought up that there were two signs at one time , and it was suggested that if the second- sign could be located , one could be painted for - summer hours , and one for winter hours . There was consensus on this * Book Marks : The book mars presently in use do not carry the new hours , nor. do 'they" bear the new affiliation of t'he Barnstable County Bank with the Bank f New England. Mr . George Daughtery , who made the contact originally for the bookmarks will- be ask. d if he will make contact for new bookmarks , if he cannot , then Mr . Rockwood indicated that he could -approach the Falmouth - Bank and Tru to Company .
