Contract Revision Mrs . S lander reviewed the revised Librarian ' s contract , which . included fir . Reardon ' s suggestion for Section lv (note minutes of May 1 , 1984) . T he iters covered in the town' s PAP , which are to be spelled out in the contract were reviewed , and included compensatory time ; paid holidays ; vacation policy , group health insurance ; leaves of absence - jury , bereavement , personal , maternity ; professional memberships , t.ravel , etc. The wording "full time's was removed and "regular employee" substituted. Military leave has, been omitted as not deemed necessary ; and selection of library materials included, The Trustees have right , under the contract , to make addendums . The contract can be changed during the year provided the T ri''stees meet in full session to discuss changes . The Librarian is .covered by the t,own ' s retirement plan and- since it is a state law , is not written into the contract . It was moved by B . Towner , seconded by A. FitzGerald , and unanimously voted to accept the contract as read, effective .duly 1, 1984 . Also the addendum to the' contract - relating to the five and one-half percent cost of -living for 19-8 -84 as voted at the May 1984- Town Meeting was signed as a separate #document .. Swens.on at the last meeting- has been turned over to the Friends . The Librarian will go through the list to determine items on the list that are not presently, in the library . Typewriter : The typewriter has be6n received. The "extra memory�� cost was $240, which will be paid for by the incentive grant fund, The Friends paid the initial cost of $1 ,195 .
