Kingsley no Librarian <br /> G. selander <br /> Absent: fit. Swenson <br /> M. Fordham Friends <br /> II Minutes of July meeting were accepted as presented <br /> III Reports <br /> A. Librarian: Librarian' s report was approved as presented. <br /> It was noted that July 1985 circulation surpassed <br /> July 1984 by 720 items, <br /> Bo Friends: Pres o Mary Fordham was unable to attend the meeting, <br /> Iweer, , she sent an oral report by the secretary stating <br /> that the recent meeting of the "Friends" was well attended <br /> and most en oya . o A profitof $30.00 was realized ro the <br /> sale of the speaker's (Eugene Ma.leska) books. Also that an <br /> application for equipment funds will be presented to the <br /> Keller Foundation for consideration t its October meeting, <br /> ing, <br /> All requirements for Articles of Organization and Incorporation <br /> have been met. The cost to the `rleh s was $30e00. <br /> Ce Building Committee: Mrs. Kingsley stated that Tom DeVane had <br /> donated the use of a backhoe for digging on the site <br /> (presumably for soil testing) . The sub- committee on <br /> furnishings had no report. <br /> IV Old Business <br /> There was no unfinished business, <br /> w business <br /> The librarian requested a statement of policy regarding the <br /> issuance of temporary library cards for summer renters. <br /> Mrs. Robertson a d Mrs. Kingsley will consult with Ir. Reardon. <br /> jTown Counsel, as the legality of requesting a deposit or <br /> charging a user's fee. They will report to the Board at the <br /> next meeting, It was unanimously voted not to rent or loan <br /> the projector at this time. The projector may be used in the <br /> library to review films. Mr. Rockwood made a motion to pay <br /> board e e -dues to IL&T.A. This was seconded by <br /> Ann Tanne rh l and carried unanimously,. <br /> Adjournment <br /> Meeting was adjourned at :15 P.M. <br /> Respectfully submitted <br /> i Anne C.
