Kingsley - Librarian <br /> II The minutes of the April. 8th meeting were not presented <br /> t this time. <br /> III Reports <br /> A. Librarian Report accepted as presented*. <br /> B. Friends: Mrs. Fordham reported that $1510. had been <br /> received from the mail solicitation of businesses and <br /> organizations. <br /> -"the 'I `r~ end " will pay for stamps and the invitation <br /> to the dedication that will appear in the newspapers* <br /> In lieu of a book sale the Cape Cod Book Center has <br /> agreed to take the books collected and to contribute <br /> substantial donation. <br /> The "Friends" have purchased forty-eight 'cups saucers <br /> and plates. Al o,. twenty-four knives and forks -and <br /> forty-eigh.t. .spoons-.-for- the. meeting room. <br /> C. Buildin Committees It was reported that the carpet <br /> has been installed. Furniture and shelving is being <br /> delivered on the 28th and 29th. The draperies should <br /> be installed by the 29th. The roving schedule s' set <br /> for May 13, 14, and 5. The last day the present <br /> library will be open is May 12th. The new library <br /> should be open May 26tho <br /> Iv Correspondence <br /> None <br /> V Unfinished Business <br /> No report on the cleaning contract. <br /> The cost of the Open House invitations is $70x00 for <br /> one hundred fifty (150) - <br /> The <br /> 15 •The police will be notified of the dedication date and <br /> plans for, the purpose of traffic control* <br /> The newspaper* invitation (advertisement) will be a <br /> two column ad costing a total of $108.60 for three local <br /> papers. Mrs.. ingsle r will take care of TV and radio <br /> coverage, <br /> The refreshments will be small cakes and punch. Hostesses <br /> should report at 1 :00. P.M. Ann Tanneyhi l will take care <br /> of ID cards. <br /> Gloria Selande will arrange for the services of the <br /> No Name Band from 2 P.M to 4 P.M. Donation expected is <br /> $75*00 to $100*000 <br /> t <br />
