Rockwood D. Kingsley - Librarian II The minutes of the April. 8th meeting were not presented t this time. III Reports A. Librarian Report accepted as presented*. B. Friends: Mrs. Fordham reported that $1510. had been received from the mail solicitation of businesses and organizations. -"the 'I `r~ end " will pay for stamps and the invitation to the dedication that will appear in the newspapers* In lieu of a book sale the Cape Cod Book Center has agreed to take the books collected and to contribute substantial donation. The "Friends" have purchased forty-eight 'cups saucers and plates. Al o,. twenty-four knives and forks -and forty-eigh.t. .spoons-.-for- the. meeting room. C. Buildin Committees It was reported that the carpet has been installed. Furniture and shelving is being delivered on the 28th and 29th. The draperies should be installed by the 29th. The roving schedule s' set for May 13, 14, and 5. The last day the present library will be open is May 12th. The new library should be open May 26tho Iv Correspondence None V Unfinished Business No report on the cleaning contract. The cost of the Open House invitations is $70x00 for one hundred fifty (150) - The 15 •The police will be notified of the dedication date and plans for, the purpose of traffic control* The newspaper* invitation (advertisement) will be a two column ad costing a total of $108.60 for three local papers. Mrs.. ingsle r will take care of TV and radio coverage, The refreshments will be small cakes and punch. Hostesses should report at 1 :00. P.M. Ann Tanneyhi l will take care of ID cards. Gloria Selande will arrange for the services of the No Name Band from 2 P.M to 4 P.M. Donation expected is $75*00 to $100*000 t
