Rockwood Il Minutes of the previous meeting were accepted with two corrections. III Reports A. Librarian' s: Librarian's report accepted as read. Be Friends: The Friends held a book sale in the library on August 13th. It was a huge financial success. The next meeting will be Tuesday, August 27th at I :30 in the meeting room. The guest speaker will be Donna Miller, a Psychic . Iv Correspondence A. Mrs* Kingsley received a note of thanks from theHospice ' s Bereavement Support Group for use of the meeting room, They also requested use of the meeting room for their fall meetings. The request was granted by the trustees. B. A letter and questionaire was received requesting information regbLrding trusts. As the Trustees have no trusts, we completed the form and returned it to Cape & Islands Library Assn. V old Business A. Mr. William 'erbert is presently working as custodiano his work is very satisfactory. B. The landscaper has spread additional mulch, removed the dead trees, and planted one new tree in the rear of the building. Co The D.P.W. has not responded to our request for a sprinkler system for lawns and shrubs* D. Part-Time Library Aide. A motion made by A. Fit Gerald, seconded by A. Tanneyhill, to submit an article in the November Special Town Meeting requesting f ndinu for a part time library aide for the balance of this fiscal year, was carried un .nimousl y, after much discussion. E. Termites. The Trustees agreed to immediate extermination of the termites. The cost of this could possibly be paid by an emergency transfer offunds by t,he Finance Committee. D. Kingsley will have estimates and more information for the trustees at the next Trustees meeting,
