ROARD OF LIBRARY TRUSTEES /l0/9 PAGE IST OLD BUSINESS : A. Early Childhood Grant : Helene aims to have the grant application comple.ted by the first of the week. She . ?Hopes to have it 'n about the 14th or 15th. Helene ex- plained that she was excited about doing it , and- hoped they would be . approved . NEW BUSINESS : A. Report on nominations for Board of Trustees : Mimi wel- comed Teri Hyde wh 'has applied for an opening on the Board of Trustees. B , Progress on post cards : David reported that the post cards had not gone out yet . David had some items to show to the trustees that he ?Hoped they would be pleased with. David had met with a friend who is in the graffic ants business , Color Design in Hyannis . They employ four graffic artists on staff . This firm is doing some work for the real estate office that David is employed with. He ran the library ideas by them and they put some people right on it , 'the Little Library That Gould': that he brought to the meeting for approval . David explained that to date, this had not cost the library anything * There will be no bill from the company. The trustees were very enthusiastic about the artwork design . Mimi suggested that she would like to see one of these posters in every business in Mshpee. Suggestions : Come Aboard . "Join the Friends of the Mashpee Library. Five trustees attended : Term ,bane, Charlotte, Helene and Mai. Mimi reported that they had had the opportunity to visit the Plymouth Library . This was a most incredible building. One meeting room was larger than the entire Mashpec Library. This building re- placed three other libraries .
