KBRIDE II .MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING: - Minutes of March 10 , 1998 meeting were accepted as presented . III REPORTS : Friends : Jane Stockbridge reported that the Friends Book Sale brought in $131 . 20 this past month. There had been a meeting of the Friends this afternoon which was very well attended . The subject was a.rdrobing . Everyone who -attended enjoyed the meeting . David Burton: David explained that he had picked up the post- c-ard printing or"der this afternoon. For 1 , 000 post cards , the char'e was $164 . 00 - less than . 0 a piece for full color . sample of the post card was given to each of the trustees . Ee�cone .ored the logo - which will be featured o look bags , sweat ' shirts , Signs,, etc .' David explained that the post cards will be mailed to heads of households throughout the Town of Mash.pee. Future post card messages will be related to our meed to expand our library . . David explained that the May 4th Town Meeting was corning up . 1'e will preseiat flyers with the message: "We need more space; e need to grow. " LIBRA . DI E "1 .: Helene DeEoe- reported , -there were 7 , 650 items that gent out last month: For the year, we are ti�.1 up about over trhe previous year . IV OLD .& NEW BUSINESS : A. Cape Cod Library Club Spring Meeting , May 14 , 1998 : Mimi Marsh explained that , as a rule , we agree to close the library so that the staff pan attend the festivities . Mimi asked for a moti n to request to close the library. Gloria Selander rade the motion. Anton seconded . Motion carried . Mimi explained that the Library club luncheon would be held at the Augusta Sncw House, The cost will be $15 . 00 which would include tax and tip .
