Memo from Personnel Board relative to their hiring process : <br /> This has been adopted by the board of selectmen . Guidlines <br /> on recruiting , job posting : whether a job was union or not , <br /> union they do it different 1y . <br /> Basically , if you have a vacancy , you must complete a form, . <br /> make sure your review an up to date job description . This <br /> must go to the town administrator for approval , how to recruit . <br /> This information was passed around to the trustees board . <br /> Helene -wants to discuss a bit further with the Personnel Board <br /> to clarify in her mind how this works b <br /> B . A memorandum from Maureen Killeran , Public Library Government <br /> Liaison for the Board of Library Commissioners , She keeps <br /> abreast of legislation that is forthcoming . The memo that <br /> she sent out : Gov. A. Paul Celluccil and Lt . Gov. .bane Swift <br /> filed a seventy-five million dollar construction bili on Friday <br /> February 12th at the State Howse. Attached was the' goeror ' <br /> press release and a copy of the bill . This legislation will <br /> now go to the joint house and senate committees on State Admin- <br /> istration. <br /> Helene read the memo. to the trustees . <br /> Helene explained there were 22 projects still on the waiting <br /> List . They are going to be funding- those over the next three <br /> fiscal years , and then they expect to make funds 'available to <br /> another 59 libraries who, are not currently on the list . The <br /> cities and towns will be required to pay two -thirds of the con- <br /> struction costs , with the state funding the remaining one-third . <br /> Helene had received a call today from Nancy affyn # s legislative <br /> aide. Helene believed he was referring to the planning grant - <br /> that the library had submitted . Helene told him that the decision <br /> on hose were going to be made this week. <br /> Helene FAX' d the above legislation to N. Caffyn so that she could <br /> be aware of it , and explained that Mashpee was very interested in <br /> the passage of this bill as we intend to apply for a grant to expand <br /> the present library, <br /> Copies of all of the above were passed out to the trustees . <br />
