Th <br /> March sale netted $173 . The success of this month ' s sale <br /> suggests we need to continue to slash prices to <br /> encourage more activity.- we note that volume of sales <br /> is what brings us profit . Next sale is scheduled for <br /> April. 1st . <br /> Passes Program - Board members rade a trip into <br /> the Museum of Fine Arts and their group picture <br /> appeared in the Mashpee Enterprise. We hope more <br /> people will take advantage of this cultural <br /> opportunity as the community becomes more aware <br /> of the Mashpee Library ' s offerings . <br /> I <br /> The Artist of the Month Program continues to bring <br /> talent to the Library, and the paintings offer a <br /> special dimension to our Library space . <br /> Booksignings - While three authors had been scheduled t <br /> cone in Januarys Robert Pease came this month, his <br /> talk having been postponed in January due to weather . <br /> (Ted Keary and Adam Garble were the other two presenters . ) <br /> In February we hada series of programs on maintaining <br /> your health. Many Roberts spoke on Reiki and Native <br /> American spirituality, carol Dubin -DID A PROGRAM ON <br /> THE Japanese art of selfhelp called Tin shin Jyutsu . <br /> And Trish casimira explained the uses for practical <br /> hypnosis in staying well and breaking habits . <br /> Newsletter - Copy for the fourth Newsletter should r-each <br /> Marilynn Brooks or me by April 7th. We have been asked by Ann Whitlow <br /> to do a history of the Library and to plan activities <br /> honoring Trustees , Librarians , and Friends . We are working on <br /> that now. Janet Burke , ourChildren ' s Librarian will <br /> work with the schools to have a contest for a bookmark <br /> design by a youngster (grades 1 to . <br /> Through the good offices of David Burton, your chairman, <br /> the Chamber of commerce will sponsor a "Meet & Greeter <br /> hour at the Library for the business community. This <br /> will help our visibility, and raise suppo rt and funds for <br /> our Library expansion. <br />
